Simple pricing, and parents never pay fees
Every feature is in every plan. Pick how you'd rather pay: a small percentage as you earn, or a flat month rate. Either way, your families are never charged a booking fee.
For programs getting started or trying Sunup out. Pay nothing until families book.
For established programs. A flat rate, and the platform fee goes away entirely.
Payment processing (Stripe) is charged at cost on both plans. Offline payments you record — cash, check — carry no platform fee.
The fee your families will never see
Most platforms in this space charge parents a "booking fee" on top of your price — a couple of dollars taken from every order, wearing your brand. We think that's your customer relationship, not ours to tax. Sunup charges families nothing, on any plan, ever.
Sawyer pricing as published at hisawyer.com, July 2026. Payment processing fees apply on both platforms.
Questions, answered
Any payment a family makes online through Sunup — registrations, deposits and balance payments, drop-ins, and class packs. Payments you record as received offline (cash or check) are never charged a platform fee.
Card processing is handled by Stripe and charged at Stripe's standard rates, with no markup from us. Payments settle directly to your own Stripe account — you're the merchant of record.
No. Starter and Pro have the identical feature set — forms, waivers, waitlists, deposits, class packs, reporting, all of it. The only difference is how you pay us.
Yes. Move between Starter and Pro whenever the math favors it. As a rule of thumb, Pro wins once you're collecting more than about $6,500/month online.
The refund goes back through Stripe to the family, and it's recorded against the original order so your books always reconcile. You can also issue household credit instead.
Only your price. No booking fees, no service charges, no "convenience" fees — on either plan.
